Today we've reached the unbelievable mark of $50,000, bringing the new Stretch Goal to life: "Men at Arms".

Angevinian Four
Angevinian Four

From now on each one of the same class units will receive his own personal working tool. To demonstrate its features, we introduce you to the illustrious Angevinian Four: George, Paul, John, and Ringo! They were the first unit in production back in days and thus gain the honor to become the first ones who got the new weapons!

Eleanora of Aquitania Special Unit Sneak Peek
almost 6 years ago – Tue, Aug 14, 2018 at 11:20:03 AM

Elanor of Aquitania was one of the most influential and wealthiest women in western Europe during the High Middle Ages. Wife of two kings: Louis VII of France and King Henry II of England and mother of two others: Richard I and King John, she led armies several times in her life, and was a leader of the Second Crusade.

Her token presents three hearts and one shield on its sides; thus Elanor cannot perform ranged or melee attacks, but she has her own unique ability.

  • Being tapped, Elanor changes her colors to French ones, becoming able to adjoin French units to her band and use them just like her own during her turn.

On Add-Ons and Stretch Goals
almost 6 years ago – Mon, Aug 13, 2018 at 11:44:39 PM

Urbi et Orbi!

We've started receiving more and more questions regarding the upcoming add-ons, and we feel like we must clarify.

First, of Stretch Goals: all stretch goals unlocked will be included in each Core Box, in this and following prints.

Second, the KS exclusive assets will only be included in the First Congregation print (this first thousand). No later re-prints (if any) will include Initus Calcitrosis, FedEx, Camel Train, Buhurt Tutor and Disgusting Man.

There is a total of six Add-Ons planned. One (Knight Templars) has been already designed, tested, announced and available for order while the rest are on earlier pre-production stages yet.

But all of those are to be ready at the shipment date. These are:

1. "Outremer," or The Latins - the Crusader States joint forces. The Kingdom of Jerusalem, the Principality of Antioch, the County of Tripoli and the County of Edessa united.

2. "Army of Cross," presenting Flanders, Hungary, Sicily, Genoa, Portugal, Poland, Papal States, and some other flags.

3. This Army is to be announced last. Stay tuned!

4. Fortunes And Fates: 13-pack of Amenities and Divine Will Cards, including - the Alchemist to pimp your Greek Fire (and also grant the educated drinking buddy to the Meister of Engines), - the Chapel to pray for the sinful souls of your warriors, - the Stable to make your Cavalry more effective, and More Divine Will cards to manage the Purgatorium: Indulgentia, Anathema, Excommunicatio and Descendit Ad Inferos.

5. The last add-on (and the only one whose fate is not decided yet) is the Deck of Deeds add-on. It brings in the entirely new kind of game asset: Quests and Challenges cards. Challenges are zero-sum game multiplayer mini-missions while Quests are non-zero-sum. They demand some actions performed by players, often in a specific order, i.e. "Kill two Knights in every Crusader army including your own' ("Saladin's Oath" quest), or "Kill a French Knight with a Trebuchet" ("Montfort Rocks" quest) or "Ransack four City Quarters with Pilgrim units" ("Paupers' Crusade " quest).

Each one of those (except for the Deck of Deeds) will cost you about the same $10, and we'll come up with some package discount for the whole set, too - just after we round up all the orders and get the final quotes.

There's yet another add-on we want to offer you, but it'll be only possible upon Glory Box sales end because until then we are unable to calculate the exact final price.

Whenever this card is dealt, every player must donate a coin to a band that drew this card, totally ignoring usual band's coin capacity. Enjoy your fortune, but remember - YOU MUST DELIVER! In this case - your sudden treasure to your camp.

Men at Arms Stretch Goal Announced!
almost 6 years ago – Mon, Aug 13, 2018 at 04:14:49 PM

Urbi et Orbi!

"Men at Arms" will arm each of the units differently. Like, for Pilgrims, all armed with sticks and rocks, there will be more versatile options like flails, slings and donkey jawbones.

But wait, there's more. The next goal is called "Fashion Crusade". Do you have any ideas what it could be? :)
